Misha Pinkhasov is co-author of Real Luxury: How Luxury Brands Can Create Value for the Long Term (2014, Palgrave Macmillan). He also co-founded Nair-Safir social and business strategy consultants to luxury brands, whose mission is "Putting people in business" through communications that create value shared between firms, the communities they affect and the individuals that comprise both.
As a writer, Misha covers luxury, culture and socially responsible business for consumer and trade media, and speaks on these topics to universities, and corporate and conference groups. He has 20 years experience in international communications, public policy, financial markets, branding and media, of which he spent nine years managing communications in various roles at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Misha holds an MBA in International Luxury Brand Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris and a Bachelor's in Consumer Economics from Cornell University in New York. He speaks English, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew, and lives in Portugal Misha's first novel, about the psychology of luxury, is expected next year. |
